St Ambrose PTO Pledge Drive

Each year the St. Ambrose PTO holds a Pledge Drive in the hopes of relieving some of the stress and burden of fundraising, and giving each of us more time to spend with our families, more time to participate and volunteer in the day to day activities of our school, and more time to participate in community oriented activities in both school and parish. Each year this Pledge Drive is a great success brining in more than $50,000.

Please keep the generosity of past going by completing the Pledge Card to the best of your family's ability, to the best benefit of the school, and to your family's personal finances, returning the card to the school office in an envelope marked "PTO Treasurer" as soon as possible. Your generous gift will allow us to keep tuition down and free us up to spend time with our children, our school, and our church!

Remember! Donations are typically tax deductible, tuition is never tax deductible! Please check with your tax advisor.

Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area

In the (unlikely) event that you are unable or prefer not to sign up for the CFC directly through your employer, the link above will take you to the web page of the "Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area" where you can sign up directly to make contributions through your federal employer to Saint Ambrose Catholic School. The Web instructions below become operational during the federal "Open Season". Here's How:

• Click the link above to http://www.cfcnca.org/search
• In the "Lookup Charity by CFC Code" field, enter the St. Ambrose ID Number 8386, and click "CFC Code Search"
• You will see information about our school. Click "Give to this Charity".
• A box will pop up saying "St. Ambrose Catholic School has been added to your basket." Click the "Checkout/View Selected Charities" button.
• In the "You Have Chosen to Give the Following Charities..." window, you will see the listing for "St. Ambrose Catholic School". Click the "Checkout Now" button.
• Select "Payroll Deduction" or "Cash or Check" and Click "Continue".
• Continue likewise through the remaining windows, adding your personal information and selections, and in a few more clicks, your contributions will be all set up.

If you would like to contribute to St. Ambrose through the United Way, the link above will take you to the web page of the "United Way of the National Capital Area" where you can sign up directly with them to make contributions to Saint Ambrose Catholic School. Here's how:

• Under "HOW YOU CAN HELP", Click "Make a donation".
• Select from among the four options provided for how you would like to make your pledge/contribution.
• When you get to the part where they ask you about "Designation Choices", select "I want my gift to go to the following organization(s)", and in the "Code #" box enter the ID # for St. Ambrose Catholic School: 8386.
• Continue responding to the questions according to your preferences and information, and in a few more clicks, your contributions will be all set up.

To Sign up for Giant A+ BONUSBUCKS Program via the web, Click this link:

• Select the "Designate Schools" link on the left
• In the field towards the bottom,
• Enter the first 3 letters of the last name in which you registered your Giant Bonus Card, and
• Enter your 12-digit Giant Bonus Card Number
• Click the "Continue to School Listings" button
• In the "Express Method" field,
• Enter the Saint Ambrose ID # 03247, and
• Click the "Complete School Designations" button

• You should then see that you have registered your card for: "1. 03247 St Ambrose Catholic School - Annandale, VA"
• Click the "Confirm My Information" button
• You will see a confirmation that: "School Designations Submitted: St Ambrose Catholic School - Annandale, VA". That's it, you're done.

Safeway eScrip To Sign up for Safeway's eScrip Program via the web
Click this link:

• In the "Make a Difference in Four Easy Steps" field, click "Sign Up - It's Free"·
• Click the "Group ID" button, enter 6567811 in the empty box, and click "Search"
• Click the "St. Ambrose School" link
• Click the "Next" button
• Enter the required information and click "Next"
• Under "Card Type" select "Safeway", then enter your 11 digit "Safeway Club" card number (no spaces) and click "Next"
• You can ignore the next two frames by clicking "Next" for each
• The last field gives you a chance to review and edit everything you've entered. If everything is OK, click "Confirm"
• Finally, you will receive a "Supporter Identification Number" which you can keep if you like (It may help you conduct other business with eScrip), and you can now (if you like) create a "personal password" so you can "Manage your eScrip account online".

Visiting Office Depot in person to buy your supplies? You can benefit the school there, too. Here's how:

• At the description of St. Ambrose Catholic School, click "Designate This School" to register your Target Charge or Visa Card

Each Box Top represents 10 cents for the school. You can find the familiar 10¢ Box Tops coupon on hundreds of your family's favorite products from General Mills. And now, you can find Box Tops on Ziploc® and Kleenex® products, too.

Monday Ice Cream Drawing: All students turning in Box Tops are entered into the monthly drawing for a free ice cream.
