This summer, please read the following two books:

Ramona's World by Beverly Cleary
Misty of Chincoteague by Marguerite Henry

Use the worksheets in your packet to make notes on these two books. You are required to have the worksheets completed by the time of the test. Tests will be given on the books on or about September 10th. You may use your worksheets during the test and turn them in with the test.

Below is a list of other books you may read in addition to the two required selections. If you read a total of five books (the required two plus three more) from this list, you will receive a special "no uniform" day in the fall. Keep a list of all the books you've read this summer to show your teacher in the fall.
