Mrs. Baxter was born and raised in the Chicago area, received her BA in history from the University of Oklahoma, and her MBA from the University of Chicago. She worked for the City of San Antonio, Control Data, and Kraft Foods Research and Development before retiring to raise her family.

She has had the privilege of helping out in many volunteer positions at various schools, including enrichment coordinator, track, basketball, and volleyball coach, and room parent. She has served as St. Ambrose's second and third grade aide and lunchroom coordinator. Now in her fifth year as P.E. and Health teacher, she has developed many creative new ways to teach the students and keep them active. She really enjoys children because each one is a reflection of God.

She and her husband have five children, from sixth grade to post-graduate age.
